Iftest at Medtec Europe: smart health and connected devices
As digitalisation continues to advance, the medtech market is changing rapidly. An increasing number of smart health solutions are being developed based on wireless communication technologies and ‘connected devices’. Medtec Europe, which will take place from 17–19 April 2018 in Stuttgart, is offering its own Smart Health & Manufacturing programme specifically devoted to this topic. Directed towards well-versed decision-makers, the programme provides high-quality insights into the trends and opportunities presented by digitalisation. Visitors can look forward to a series of interesting talks and presentations of innovative product solutions. Iftest presents new display and control module
When developing its latest display and control module, Iftest needed to consider the demanding standards of the medical and industrial sectors in terms of quality and robustness. The new module is built on a flexible modular architecture, making it possible to quickly offer highly customised solutions for specific customer applications. The system includes a pluggable Com module and a customized baseboard. This architecture approach allows customers to design the entire GUI themselves using conventional tools.

Iftest hosts Disruptive Morning with own speaker
Shaping the future in Wettingen: for the first time, Switzerland Innovation and Park Innovaare joined Iftest in Wettingen for the Disruptive Morning informational event on innovation on 31 January. The topic of the event: ‘Highly innovative startup meets regulatory safety requirements’. Iftest’s Head of Development Jürgen Schulz demonstrated how the company partnered with Hechingen-based medtech company and former startup Cardiobridge to help implement its innovative new catheter pump in a hospital environment through a systematic risk assessment process.
Iftest modernises its ERP landscape
Optimal resource planning and efficient business processes are the foundation for maximum productivity in the interests of our customers. In order to further improve performance, Iftest is now completely upgrading its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The new planning and information system will be implemented at both the headquarters in Wettingen, Switzerland, and the production site in Jaklovce, Slovakia.
