Iftest hosts Disruptive Morning with own speaker

Shaping the future in Wettingen: for the first time, Switzerland Innovation and Park Innovaare joined Iftest in Wettingen for the Disruptive Morning informational event on innovation on 31 January. The topic of the event: ‘Highly innovative startup meets regulatory safety requirements’.

Iftest’s Head of Development Jürgen Schulz demonstrated how the company partnered with Hechingen-based medtech company and former startup Cardiobridge to help implement its innovative new catheter pump in a hospital environment through a systematic risk assessment process. An expert in approval guidelines and the CE marking – a crucial certification mark in the EU – Schulz offered valuable insights into individual development processes during his talk, from hardware and software development, to minimisation of risks in terms of first-fault safety and successful product approval and launch.

Participants then had the opportunity to ask questions and visit Iftest’s development and production facilities in Wettingen. All in all, the event was a great success and will be repeated in the future – with new topics and another exciting audience.
