Modern information and communication technologies ensure that day-to-day processes run smoothly. For example, Iftest electronics solutions are an integral part of checkout and passenger information systems. They provide information for passengers and guarantee their safety in public transport systems. A special code has been developed for checkout systems, which guarantees a high degree of security against interference. Other applications rely on rapid data processing, such as camera systems used in professional photography and video production. In these systems, extremely large amounts of data are captured within a very short time, and similar technologies are used in imaging applications in the healthcare industry. Use Case: Fiscal memory with encryption
In collaboration with its subsidiary Actilog, Iftest developed a fiscal memory module designed to integrate an encryption system for cash registers commissioned by the German federal government. Since all transaction records must be disclosed during a tax audit, a high storage capacity is required to enable the secure collection of data over a period of more than one year. Data encryption using AES256 and TLS (SSL) ensures the protection of this sensitive data at all times. The removal or destruction of the memory cards is prevented by a specially developed, sturdy housing that makes any attempts at tampering or break-ins immediately apparent.
